Spreading rock salt and ice melt will be a quick and easy process in the harsh and cold winters thanks to the 85 lb. Push Spreader. The large 10 inch x 3.5 inch pneumatic tires provide smooth transport on snowy or icy surfaces. An enclosed gearbox protects the gears from the corrosive rock salt or ice melt. Depending on the material being spread and speed of application, the 85 lb. Push spreader can cover 14,000 square feet or roughly a ¼ acre on one fill. A hopper cover, deflector and grate are included to keep the material dry and to narrow the spreading pattern to prevent unwanted material from being applied onto your lawn.
